an important mental health poster
Most of us know exactly what to do when someone is struggling physically–whether it be to call 911 or reference the familiar posters on cafeteria and restaurant walls to assist someone who is choking. When it comes to mental health, the signs are often subtle, and the next steps aren’t nearly as clear. Nearly 50,000 Americans die by suicide each year, and over 66 million struggle with mental illness. Despite these staggering numbers, most people still don’t know how to recognize the warning signs—or how to help.
We’ve teamed up with our partners at NAMI to change that. Hang these posters in workplace breakrooms, teacher’s lounges, or wherever you have access to wall space.
