A microlot worth slowing down for
This is not your everyday coffee.
This is little victories, a truly rare microlot made from Maracaturra beans that are 50% bigger, wildly expressive, and difficult to come by.
Grown high in the mountains of Jinotega, Nicaragua, and produced in vanishingly small quantities, this coffee delivers an experience that borders on surreal: lush berries, ripe melon, floral lift, and a kind of joy you don’t rush through.
Expect notes of strawberry, grape, cantaloupe, and a whisper of rose, with a tangerine-bright acidity, a velvety mouthfeel and a luxuriously smooth finish. It’s complex, high quality coffee without being precious. Elegant without trying too hard. A reminder that coffee can still surprise you.
And yes, it’s rare.
Painfully, beautifully rare.
A microlot debut that sets the bar.
Little victories is the first release in our happy® microlot series, and we went all in. This small-batch, single-origin stunner comes from dedicated member farmers in Jinotega who nurture their coffee with obsessive care, because coffees like this don’t happen by accident.
Our Q Grader Michael tasted it once and immediately said, “We need all of this.”
We bought every sack we could.
There weren’t many.

Why this coffee is so special
Maracaturra beans (aka coffee unicorns)
A rare Arabica hybrid known for its extra-large bean size and extraordinary flavor complexity. Bigger beans. Bigger payoff.
166-hour carbonic maceration fermentation
Borrowed from natural winemaking, this slow, sealed fermentation unlocks layered fruit, floral aromatics, and an almost candy-like sweetness you simply won’t find in conventional coffees.
Microlot means microlot
We secured just two sacks. That’s it. When this is gone, it’s gone for good. No re-runs, no encores.
Roasted to let the coffee speak
A medium-light roast designed to bring out sweetness, and highlight brightness, texture, and nuance, not cover it up.
Rated as a 92 by Coffeereview.com - 2/2026
A carbonic maceration Nicaragua that leads with appealing Concord grape notes, framed by rich aromatic wood and a crisp chocolate undercurrent.

A note on impact
All proceeds (yup, 100% of sales) from little victories are being donated to the Mental Health Coalition: not because this coffee needs another reason to be special, but because moments of joy deserve to ripple outward. This coffee is priced the way it is because of its rarity, quality, and craft. The giving is simply part of who we are.

Behind the beans
As special as these beans are, the real story belongs to the people who grew them. We’re proud to celebrate the work of Maritza and Francisco, whose care, patience, and expertise made this coffee possible. Every cup carries their craft forward.
