"I really like a good cup of coffee. Wake me up, help me relax, etc. There is usually a pot on all weekend. Now Happy Dark Roast actually makes me happy. It does have those cocoa notes. There is a fullness to the flavor, but not any bitterness. The other reason I like Happy, as an LPC, I like knowing that I am supporting NAMI. It is a fantastic organization, and one that I partner with professionally. Good coffee, supports mental health? I've got to go with it!"

"I wasn’t expecting to love this coffee as much as I do because I am used to Puerto Rican coffee I grew up on but wowza!! It completely exceeded my expectations. The aroma hits you the moment you open it, rich and warm without being overpowering. The flavor is smooth, balanced, and has just the right amount of depth. No bitterness, no weird aftertaste. It’s just genuinely good coffee. I’ve been using it for my morning and evening cup, and it’s honestly become the highlight of my day. It works great for both hot and iced coffee, mixes well with the taste of each flavor syrup I use, and even tastes good black, which I rarely say about any brand of coffee. Highly recommend!"

"This Happy Dazzling Dark Roast ground coffee makes my mornings better. I am, admittedly, not a morning person, and I rely on coffee to get going in the a.m. I make my coffee very strong, and this dark roast brews up with a robust but smooth flavor, without bitterness. I enjoyed its nutty and chocolate notes. I prefer dressing up my morning coffee with cream and sugar, but this dark roast is balanced enough to serve black. The coffee comes ground in an interesting cube-shaped package with a light and perky aesthetic. I wasn’t sure about the packaging at first, but I do think the airtight top keeps ground coffee more fresh than bags do, which also helps stave off bitterness. The top seems tricky to open until you notice one corner has a little cutout to help ease it off, and then it's kind of fun to pop it open and enjoy the aroma. I also appreciate that it’s recyclable and sports a mental-health support message from NAMI and points you to the company website for details about its sustainable growers. All that gives this coffee an overall feel-good vibe. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for giving me this coffee to try."
