What happens when you mix purpose, partnership, and a really good cup of coffee? Something surreal like this: Robert Downey Jr. and I were honored with the NAMI Heart of Innovation Award last week at The Beverly Hills Hotel.

Not sure what felt more unlikely—being named a co-winner of something with Robert, or the idea of me wearing a suit. (spoiler alert: anyone can wear a suit.)

Truly honored to receive this recognition from NAMI, and deeply grateful for the life-changing work they do to support mental health. Dan Gillison, Jr., Jessica Edwards, Erin Raftery Ryan—thank you, and thank you to your incredible teams. You bring hope, help, and humanity to so many.

To my wife (who will never read this): thank you for instantly shouting “NAMI!” when Robert asked, “Not everyone’s happy. What can we do about that?”
