recyclable, reusable, remarkable
we designed our pack to be recyclable, beautiful, and to stand out from all of the rest of the coffee brands. yes, it was designed to look different.
anyone could make a coffee bag in dark greens, browns, and muted earthy tones...which aren't recyclable btw.
instead, we created something that you don't need to hide away in a cabinet.
your coffee bag is probably lined with plastic or foil
the first thing we discovered when designing our package was that coffee bags aren't actually recyclable.
we weren't alone. we surveyed 1,500 people and over 65% of them didn't know that their coffee bags couldn't be recycled and were destined for the landfill.
why? well, most coffee bags are lined with foil or plastic...
and when that's combined with paper or foil, means they can't be recycled in most markets.
if your coffee bag wasn't lined with plastic, the coffee would be stale long before it reached your home.
Product Feature
designed to be recycled
recycling centers are a business - which means they need to make a profit in order to want to recycle any container.
we designed our pack to meet their needs so that we increase the likelihood of being recycled.
the size and shape of our pack make it economically attractive to recyclers...
and it's 100% curbside-recyclable.
